Second harvest, AOP Haute-Provence LIMITED EDITION to 600 liters - Gold medal at the New York 2021 competition

The olives are selected from the Monfort orchards in Haute-Provence and then pressed at the Moulin de la Fine, in Volx.

The olive grove is made up of nearly 3.200 trees over more than 8 hectares, with olives of the Aglandau, Frantoio and Bouteillan varieties. They are picked by hand to guarantee total respect for the fruit and its freshness.

 

  • Tasting note: fruity which presents a lot of sweetness with floral notes, almost dried ripe banana and flower honey
  • In the mouth: the texture is soft with notes of red fruits and jasmine. At the end of the mouth, we find a slight astringency with notes of banana.
  • Pairings: with cheese in a Greek salad with feta. For dessert with a tart or fruit cake. On toast in the morning with honey.

Maison Brémond delicatessen was founded in 1830 in Aix en Provence, then taken over in 2015 by Olivier Baussan.
