Cacti can survive in the most extreme dry environments. They adapt to their surroundings in different manners to conserve water. Most species have lost their leaves and instead have thorns providing safety from herbivores and giving some shade.

A cactus in the wild can live hundreds of years. This beauty might not live to be a hundred, but take care of it and it will bring you joy for many years to come.

Printed with Japanese archival ink on a matte Hahnemühle paper in our own studio in rural Copenhagen, Denmark.

Print size 15x15 cm. With frame it measures 17x17 cm.
